RED TAIL GOLDEN AROWANA, 11 inches directly imported from Malaysia, price is cheaper and high quality compare to your regular pet shop. My RTG arowana is far more cheaper for Php 19,900 only with papers and microchip.

For people starting out, I would recommend at least a RTG. I wouldn't recommend a Green or a 1.5/Yellow tail because colour development and appearance of the mature RTG is more rewarding than that of the Green etc. Considering that you will be purchasing a tank, filter and feeding your aro daily with the same amount of food regardless or RTG, Green or 1.5. It really make sense to start off with a arowana that will yield better result.

Ultimately, you should chose with the knowledge that your arowana will be with you for many many years to come. Saving few pesos for a slightly better arowana and then regretting for the rest for the 20-40 years of your aro's life doesn't make for sensible logic.
